    I purchased MCAFEE in 2006, it only found 2 viruses. Tried free trial of Norton that found none.Tried free version of AVG found 62 viruses or malicious files.Avira is ok.XoftspySE is good for finding malicious files and can be ran same time as other scanners. Free version will have to manually remove files. Run “regedit” for registry files.Another good vid. Thanks.

    AVG is not good! The best protection is Avira antivir free thats what i have Norton Kaspersky and MCAFEE those are the best just google them and you can get free trials if there not free

    Decent operation system don’t need any anti-virus software. It’s ridiculous that nowadays they recommend users to have 3 or 4 different anti-virus software on Windows platform.I’m glad i don’t have to use Windows - and anti-virus software. I moved to Linux two years ago. Enjoy your battle against malwares with your anti-virus software. It must be very exciting.

    @GeistvonDunkelheit:Non of those programs are “open source”. Freeware/trialware isn’t the same thing as open source.
