I have a laptop computer that will be turned on 24/7 on the roof of my building (I won’t go into the why). Anyone know the best approach to shield this laptop from the elements? (ie, rain and heat). I live in los Angeles so it doesn’t rain that much, although I’m concerned the summer heat might cook the laptop. I have ADSL connection with 1mbps of bandwidth. I have 2 computers connected to a switch and the internet bandwidth is shared among the computers. If the the other computer downloads a file from the internet the other computer slows down. Is there a way so that the 2 computers will have access to the maximum amount of bandwidth? i bought a new computer and i was wondering what innexpensive antivirus program to get. 10 points best answer!
